Columbia has partnered with the American Hiking Society and the National Park Foundation. They also instated the ReThreads program which allows any piece of Columbia gear to be dropped off in bins at any retail store that is sent to a recycling facility. All of these goods are then re-purposed, reused, or (if usable) given to someone in need.
